While you may love that loud BOV, or a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! -like stance, there’s a big drawback to aftermarket mods: your additions may be a turnoff for future buyers. If you’re looking for something that won’t decrease your ride’s value, head to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

This sponsored ad was brought to you by State Farm, the letter Z and year 2003. Because in 2003 when we were fitting BOVs to our MAF-sensored air intakes, we were thinking about resale. Yo girl, come check out my maintained equity!

Like a good neighbor, Snake Farm is there!

That top part is the State Farm sponsored ad that floats around Jalopnik. ‘You may love a that loud BOV...’ is someone in the SF marketing dept that has no idea what the actual culture is on this site they just googled ‘cool car stuff’ and stuck that in the copy for their ad.

If this was 2003 and we all still had subscriptions to ‘Mod & Bikini Tuner Monthly’ or ‘Super Typhoon Combat Body Kit Magazine’ than slang about blow off valves would be cool. But that was a long time ago.
